• Security officers will be onsite to patrol the sale area from
6 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday; however, the safety and
security of your sale items cannot be guaranteed.
• It is advisable to cover all items due to weather hazard.
All Garage Sale spaces are the size of a parking spot. Once you
purchase your space youwill be issued a number that corresponds
with a parking space number in the Social Center parking lot.
Spaces are purchased at the Member Services Office (where
all tickets are sold).
Members of the Kiwanis Club of Sun City Texas will be selling hot
and cold drinks, donuts, breakfast tacos andmore during the sale.

Thales Smith and three other classical guitar-
ists play. Enjoy live music as the sun is set-
ting! Bring snacks and your favorite beverages.
Note: The location is now at the Cowan
Creek Pavilion, not the LegacyHills Park
Pavilion. Only 120 tickets will be sold.

Doors open at 10 a.m. for your browsing and
bidding pleasure with water, coffee, and tea
available. Lunch served at 11:30 a.m. Fashion
show begins at about 11:50 a.m.
Cotton Patch will serve a delicious luncheon
meal of potato and cheese soup, strawberry and pecan salad,
multiple dressings, a bistro sandwich, various condiments,
double-chocolate cake with tea, water and coffee.
Fashion merchandise will be modeled from area retailers, in-
cluding: Chico’s at the Arboretum, The Screen Door (downtown
Georgetown), Hummingbird Hollow (downtown Georgetown)
and Lane Bryant (Wolfe Ranch Georgetown).
Charity donations will be distributed to the Boys & Girls Club
of Georgetown and The Caring Place Food Pantry. The food
pantry is in need of non-perishable donations:

• Canned fruits/

Roger Tibbs - Miles of Memories

Roger Tibbs, from New Zealand, caught the
attention of a recording company called Music
World, whose executives believed he had the
potential to produce a successful recording.
With their encouragement, he made an all-
yodelling album called
YodellingMan
, which became a runaway
success and later won that label’s Gold Disc Award for strong
sales, as well as the Gold Guitar Award for the highest-selling
album in Australia at the Tamworth NSW Awards in 1987.
He remains the only male New Zealand artist to be awarded a
Tamworth Gold Guitar.

This year, the Garage Sale set-up time
is on Friday, October 4 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Garage
Sale is open for shoppers on Saturday, October 5 from
8 a.m. to noon. We will not allow any set up on Saturday
morning and
no items will be sold prior to 8 a.m.

for all participants and the rules will be enforced.
