Sylvia
Monday, November 10 - Saturday, November 15
7 p.m., ACA, $10 pp
Sylvia
is more than a story about a man, his
dog, and his wife; it’s about the search for iden-
tity through relationships. Greg and Kate are
empty-nesters who’ve returned to Manhattan
after 22 years in suburbia. Greg’s career as a
securities trader is imploding as he ponders life’s meaning, while
Kate’s social life and teaching career is flourishing. Then, Greg
brings home a dog he met in the park bearing only the name
“Sylvia.” A street-smart Lab and Poodle mix (who thinks and
talks), Sylvia becomes a bone of contention between husband
and wife. Come see it—you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll fall in
love with Sylvia. Directed by Ron Chalmers,
Sylvia

What is Junior Camp?
Junior Camp is a day camp for
160 grandchildren (80 each session) to experience Sun
City activities -- fishing, bocce ball, swimming, tennis,
acting, golf, ceramics, gardening, and more. Staffing
includes a camp director, nurse, counselors, volunteer
junior counselors, volunteer Sun City clubmembers, and
lifeguards who help provide a fun and safe environment.
Cost is $290 per camper which includes breakfast, lunch,
and snacks.
Who is eligible to attend?
Campersmust be 7-11 years
old at the time of camp; no exceptions due to Texas licens-
ing.
Please note:
we are not licensed to accommodate
children with special needs.
How do I sign up?
Because of the popularity of Ju-
nior Camp we hold an annual drawing to determine the
participants. The 2015 drawing will be held Friday,
February 27, at 10 a.m. in the ballroom. Attendance at
the drawing is not required.
How do I enter the drawing?
• Beginning Friday, January 2, fill out a provided slip
of paper at the Social Center Monitor’s Desk, 2 Texas
Drive. Only one slip per household.
• One slip of paper will allow for one OR two grandchil-
dren to be entered in the drawing. No more than two
grandchildren allowed per household.
• You MUST select Session 1 OR Session 2 for each
grandchild. Do not leave the session information
blank, or your entry will be disqualified. Both grand-
children do not have to attend the same session.
• Camper name, birth date, grandparent name, phone
number and email is required to enter.
• If grandchildren havemore than 1 set of grandparents
in Sun City, the children’s names can be submitted
under ONE AND ONLY ONE household.
•Do not “stuff the box.” If duplicate household or grand-
children names are drawn, your entries will be dis-
qualified and eliminated. No exceptions.
• We will draw out the entire box of entries to ensure
there are no duplicate entries and also to create a
wait list.
