demoted to Dwarf Planet status by the Inter-

orbit near Pluto’s orbit led to its demise as a planet, but Pluto

Brooks Crossing is an American Country and
Bluegrass female gospel group based out of
Bertram, Texas. This family group of perform-
ers consists of Misty Richard Crow, Brandi
Richard Brizendine and Ashley Richard Ami-
don—all of whom are sisters and daughters of Don and Linda
Richard. It is evident that the girls grew up in an environment
surrounded by music that included Country, Bluegrass, Rocka-
billy, Folk, Contemporary, and Gospel. Brooks Crossing was
honored to be nominated for Bluegrass Artist of the Year in 2012
through the International Country Gospel Music Association.
