The Sun City Texas Resource
Guide & Directory will be avail-
able beginning June 6 in two loca-
tions: the Social Center Lobby and
Cowan Creek Amenity Center. The
schedules are different for each lo-
cation, so please check the schedule
for the location you choose. Each
household receives one “New” SCT
Resource Guide & Directory. Please bring your old directory to
turn in when you receive your new one so that we can shred it
to protect your information.

You must bring your ID Badge or a Driver’s License
to pick up your directory.
You will also need to sign for
it at the time of pick up. Even though the person handing
these out may know you, ID is required. This is to protect
your information.
• If you are out of town or not able to pick one up during this
week, the books will be available at Member Services in the
Social Center after this week.
• Please support our advertisers whenever possible. Their
participation pays for this book and makes it available to
you free of charge.

FIREWISE & WILDFIRE COMMUNITY
PREPAREDNESS DAY
The Firewise Group of Sun City Texas led the
activities on Wildfire Community Prepared-
ness Day on May 3. The event was part of a
national program sponsored by the National
Fire Protection Association
).
Sun City Texas was awarded a $500 grant
from State Farm Insurance for the commu-
nity project, which aimed to reduce wild-
fire risk and increase awareness. Resident
participants and staff joined in the effort by
conducting a Common Areas clearing event.
