Come see these adorable pets strut their stuff for the honor of
being “Most Patriotic Pooch.” The competition is tough, and
walking the pets through a throng of clapping attendees is often
tougher. You’ll love seeing all these adorable pooches in their
patriotic ensembles. Purchase $1 ticket for your pooch to partici-
pate.

This is the home improvement zone where you
can turn your home and garden dreams into
reality! Come visit many exhibits where you
will find the latest in services frombuilders and
contractors and a range of products including
building materials, decks, pools, spas, entertainment systems,
storage, plants, landscape displays/materials, kitchenware, and
much more.
‘12 Angry Jurors’
Tuesday through Saturday, June 10-14, 7 p.m., SCB
This courtroom drama takes place in a hot,
stuffy, NewYork jury roomas 12 jurors debate
the fate of a young defendant charged with
murdering his father. Believing it is an open-
and-shut case, a vote is quickly taken with 11
jurors voting for guilty. A lone juror wants to be convinced of
the boy’s guilt or find him innocent. The jurors’ personalities,
backgrounds, occupations and prejudices are revealed as evidence
is debated. The audience is pulled into questioning their own
views as what once seemed black and white is now very gray.
The movie, directed by Sidney Lumet, was released in 1957 as
12 Angry Men
and is considered by many as among the best
films of all time.
This production is under the direction of Darrel Meinke and runs
June 10-14. Theater-style seating nights ($12) are Wednesday
and Thursday; cabaret-style seating nights ($14) are Tuesday,
Friday and Saturday. Tickets may be purchased online, at the
Member Services Office or at the door, if available. Doors open
at 6:30 p.m. and the play begins at 7 p.m.
Hawaiian Luau
Saturday, June 14, 5:30 p.m., LHPP, $15 pp*
The Hawaii Group of Sun City Texas is hav-
ing a real Hawaiian Luau (with warm Texas
breezes.) Local Hawaiian foods will be served,
including pulled pork, huli-huli chicken, fried
rice, salads, etc., as well as punch, water and
tea (this event is BYOB). There will be music,
a Hawaiian hula show and a hula lesson for all attendees, and
other great entertainment. Be ready for a surprise!
The cost of attendance is $15 per person. Youmay only purchase
a ticket for yourself and ONE guest. The event is limited to 120
attendees. First-come, first-served! No refunds after June 10.
