With the start of December, the Horti-
culture Club welcomes its new officers:
Lynsie Lander, President; David Mar-
tin, VP; Carol Hopper, Secretary; John
Schwebke, Treasurer; and our Board of
Directors: Randy Brown, Vern Gonion,
John Hesser and Bob Cameron.
For returning members, it’s time for
dues
renewal
. Dues paid after November 1 are
good for 2014. If you wish to pay by credit
card, you can use the Sun City online tick-
eting system; there are detailed renewal
instructions on the club microsite.
New
members should not use the ticket-
ing system
; instead, please check our
website under “New Member Info” and
follow the instructions there.
There is no member meeting in De-
cember
and next year’s meetings will
again be on the first Tuesday of the
month. Be sure to check the club website
for the latest information.

The monthly meeting will
be conducted at the annual Christmas
party on Monday December 9 at 6 p.m.
at Catfish Parlor—members only, tick-
ets required. The 2014 board of direc-
tors will be introduced.
Membership:
Dues are $12 for sin-
gle person; $20 for two persons in the
household. Sign up and pay online or
at the Member Services Office. Contact

Fishing:
View upcoming fishing trips
on our website. Planned trips include
crappie trips, black bass trips and sev-
eral specialty trips. Contact Bob Fugitt,

Hunting:
Deer and quail season are un-
derway. The club has arrangements for
quail hunting with an outfitter in Dime
Box, about an hour from Sun City. If you
have not planned a deer hunt, there are
still opportunities available. Contact

Sport shooting:
Club members or-
ganize events/outings at Best of the
West near Liberty Hill, including skeet,
trap and sporting clays, as well as pis-
tol shooting. Skeet and trap shooting
is every Thursday at 8:30 a.m. Pistol
shooting at a variety of targets in vari-
ous scenarios is every first Friday at 9
a.m. Target shooting is every first and
third Wednesday―meets at the Legacy
Hills Park Pavilion parking lot at 9 a.m.

Investment Special Interest Groups
(SIGs):
Investment Club SIGs meet the
second and third Thursdays of each
month from 1-3 p.m. in Meeting Rooms
1 & 2 of the Activities Center. The club’s
dual-track discussions will focus on: (1)
Introduction to Investing; and (2) Ad-
vanced Investment Strategies. Please

Do you like music and dance? Come
join us! Various dance styles are in-
corporated into “lines” and danced to
a variety of musical genres. You don’t
need a partner.
New and prospective members are en-
couraged to start on the first Wednesday
of the month. Residents are welcome to
attend three times before joining.
Five socials with different themes are
held during the year. Our Holiday So-
cial will be held Tuesday, December 3
in the ballroom. A catered dinner will be
followed by hours of great line dancing.
No classes will he held during De-
cember.
The ballroom and other ven-
ues are reserved for holiday parties.

meet in the Atrium from 6-8 p.m. on the
first, third, and fifth Thursdays of each
month. All Line Dance Club members
are welcome to participate in the Pat-
tern Dance sessions. Pattern dancing
is done by couples, but is not limited to
male and female partners.
