for both practical use and visual beauty.
Equipment, tools, glazes, brushes and
clay are sold to members at cost and dues
are just $12 a year.
The studio is open every day of the week.
Members’ creations are displayed in the
windows of the club as well as on its web-

Existing forms, such as
plates, bowls, vases, animals, Christmas

and glazed to your own design.

When completed, objects are fired in one
of five resident kilns that are operated by
experienced members. Beginners’ classes
are held frequently.

Wheel throwing is a
unique skill. Six potter’s wheels are avail-
able, and classes are held for both begin-
ning and more experienced members.

The winners of the Hand and Foot 13-
week competition were Pete Geiger, Rose
Dean, Diane Watkins, Fay Treglia and
Bill Brendle.
Pinochle is played on Tuesday nights.
The group uses a double deck of Pinochle
cards. Each player is dealt 20 cards at
a table with four players. Bidding goes
around the table until only one player
remains. The player with the highest
bid calls the trump suit. Meld points
are counted and the play begins. Play-
