CelticWoman: The Emerald Tour
celebrates Ireland and its spellbinding Celtic
heritage through an extraordinary presentation
of traditional Irish anthems and pop standards.
This presentation offers amoving compilation of
record-breaking music that has dazzled audiences from around
the world. It features the Aontas Choir, championship Irish danc-
ers, bagpipers, drums, and the unforgettable angelic voices of
Celtic Woman. This musical performance will be take place at
the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, an elaborate old movie
theater that has been restored to its heyday and is now one of
the premier sightseeing destinations in the city.
We will have a brief rest stop on the way at Buc-ee’s in SanMar-
cos. We will then travel to the picturesque San Antonio River
Walk for two hours of on-your-own time to have dinner and/or
walk around and enjoy an endless supply of shops, cafes, bars,
hotels, and even a shoppingmall. After exploring the RiverWalk,
we will meet at the Majestic. The event begins at 7 p.m., so we
must be at the theater no later than 6:30 p.m.
Note: There are steps down to the RiverWalk, and there
is walking required from the River Walk to the theater
venue.
Ticket cost includes transportation and show ticket.

Briscoe and Brew – San Antonio - NEW!

The BriscoeWesternArtMuseum
recently opened on the Riverwalk in San Anto-
nio. Mixing vintage and contemporary paint-
ing, photography, and sculpture with historic
artifacts, this museum offers an experience as
romantic and diverse as theWest itself. Whether it’s the full-scale
Wells Fargo stagecoach or Pancho Villa’s last known saddle, the
gallery devoted to women of theWest or themodernist murals of
Wild Horses, you are sure to feel some Texas pride as you stroll
through these halls.
The River Center Mall is our lunch stop today. A wide array of
eateries will be yours for lunch on your own – from quick-bite
meals in the food court to table service restaurants along the river.
After lunch, be prepared to “wet your whistle” at The Ranger
Creek Brewstillery, a combination beer brewery and whiskey
distillery, by-golly! These spirits are made by hand – one batch
at a time – allowing Ranger Creek Brewmasters to do things

with their product that no one else does, like age the beer in the
bourbon barrels or distill the beer into whiskeys. Our tour will

Esther’s Follies
& Pappadeaux’s Seafood Kitchen - NEW!

Depart SCPL 4:30 p.m.; Return 10:30 p.m.
Enjoy a delicious dinner and a hi-
larious show at a very reasonable price. Our
evening begins at Pappadeaux with their fa-
mous salad. Entrée choices: Ginger Salmon, a
char-grilled filet; Pan Grilled Tilapia topped
with toasted hazelnuts; Mixed SeafoodGrill, a skewer of assorted
char-grilled seafood served with dirty rice; Pasta Mardi Gras,
linguine tossed with crawfish, andouille sausage and crimini
mushrooms in marinara sauce; or Crispy Chicken Tenderloin
Fingers with French fries. For dessert, choose vanilla cheesecake
with fresh strawberries or key lime pie in a grahamcracker pecan
crust. A cash bar will be available with ample time for a beverage
of your choice. Coffee, tea, gratuity and tax are included.
After dinner we will board our motor coach and go to Esther’s
Follies in downtown Austin. This show is amix of current event
skits, amazingmagic, great music and incredible costumes – all
with a Texas-size sense of humor.

We’re off to Kerrville, a vi-
brant community and the capital of the Texas
Hill Country. Lunch will be at Billy Gene’s
Restaurant on the Guadalupe River. The good
food, friendly service and beautiful atmosphere
provide the flavors of the Texas Hill Country. Entrée choices are
