Announcing Junior Camp 2014!

Drawing Thursday, February 27, 10 a.m., SCB
Session 1: June 17 - 20 – 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Session 2: June 24 - 27 – 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
What is Junior Camp? Junior Camp provides
an opportunity for 160 grandchildren (80 each
session) to enjoy many of the activities Sun
City has to offer. The grandchildren partici-
pate in fishing, bocce ball, swimming, tennis,
acting, golf, ceramics, gardening, operating remote control
boats and airplanes, and so much more. We have a staff of
eight counselors and eight volunteer junior counselors who
make sure the kids are having fun in a safe environment. The
four-day camp (Tuesday through Friday) begins at 8:30 a.m.
each day with grandparent pick-up time at 4 p.m. Breakfast,
lunch, and snacks are included. Cost is $270 per camper.
Who is eligible to attend Junior Camp?
• Your camper must be between the ages of 7-11 years old
at the time of camp. No exceptions. The State of Texas
licenses us to serve only 7-11 year old children.
• Your household can only enroll up to two campers – no more.
• We are not able to accommodate children with special
needs because we are not licensed to do so.
• The number of children who can attend Junior Camp is
limited. See important details on the next page.
How do I sign up?
Because of the popularity of our Junior Camp and due to
legal limits regarding the number of campers, we hold an an-
nual drawing to determine the participants.
