wheelchairs are allowed.
After our tour, we’re headed to The Gin in Belton for lunch.
When you purchase your tickets, choose Nolan Creek Cheese-
burger with chips OR Chicken Salad with Avocado on a let-
tuce bed. Dessert will be Berry Cobbler with strawberries and
whipped cream. Coffee, iced tea or soda is included.
Note: Ticket purchase deadline – January 28; only 26
tickets available.

Round Top Valentine Concert & Festival Hill
Campus Tour and Lunch - NEW!

This world-renowned Performing
Arts venue is located in historic Round Top. It
was founded in 1971 in a rented space on the
town square byUT graduate and pianist James
Dick, with a handful of patrons and friends. Festival Hill has
grown to a unique 210-acre campus with its centerpiece—the
1,000-seat Concert Hall, with hand-crafted woodwork, grand
staircases and European chandeliers. We will learnmore about
the campus on a guided walking tour after lunch.
Lunch is first with Chicken Tetrazzini, Tuscan Veggies, Garlic
Bread and Texas Tiramasu for dessert. Your meal also includes
salad, and iced tea or coffee.
After lunch and our tour, we will be treated to a great Valentine
present for all! We will be entertained with Broadway melodies
sung by Dick Smith and accompanied by other musical friends
in the magnificent Concert Hall.
On the way to Round Top, we’ll have a quick stop at Buc-ee’s for a
stretch break and coffee. Our tour includes walking over uneven
paths and stones with some stairs, so wear comfortable shoes.
Ticket cost includes transportation, lunch, tour, and concert.

Christi (rest stop along the way) where we tour
the USS Lexington Museum on the Bay. This
aircraft carrier, reportedly sunk four times
duringWWII, was nicknamed “The BlueGhost” by the Japanese.
Self-guided tours of the 910-foot floating naval museum involves
climbing steep stairways, so wear comfortable shoes and know
your limitations. TheMEGA Theater aboard the ship will show
Rescue
, a 22-minute movie at 3 p.m. The USS Lexington has a
coffee shop with snacks for purchase.
After the Lexington, we will go to the Omni Hotel, located in the
downtownMarina District. Our hotel is 100 percent smoke-free
and all rooms overlook Corpus Christi Bay. The Omni offers
free internet and baggage portage for one bag. Dinner will be
on your own – hotel dining or nearby restaurants.
Monday morning we will head to King Ranch for a seven-hour
tour with lunch. Our tour starts at the visitor center, then we
visit the cattle and horse operations, followed by the feed yard and
feedmill. Then it is time for barbecue at the Cowboy Camp house.
After lunch we will tour the King Ranch Farm, the King Ranch
Museum, and the King Ranch Saddle Shop. For our drive back to
Sun City Texas, we will pick up Subway sandwiches. Sandwich
choices: ham, turkey, or veggie sub.
Ticket cost includes transportation, USS Lexington and King
Ranch tours, hotel room, lunch at King Ranch and Subway.

count the ways. Familiar lines from a love
poemwritten by Elizabeth Barrett Browning
to her husband Robert Browning, celebrat-
ing their romantic love. Meet this couple at the Armstrong
Browning Library, an elegant Italianate building graced with
sixty-two stained glass windows. The library celebrates the
Brownings’ poetry and houses the nation’s largest Browning
collection. Three floors contain rare 19th-century manuscripts,
fine decorative arts, paintings, Elizabeth’s Victorian salon, and
a special collection of Wedgewood china. Following our library
tour, we will lunch at Sironia’s Tearoomwith three-salad plate
of chicken, tuna, and vermicelli, served with fresh fruit, home-
