We will be performing at the Williamson
County Historical Museum on Friday,
December 5, from 6-8 p.m. Mark your

Place church on Sun City Boulevard.
Practice is every Saturday from 10 a.m.
to noon, and every Tuesday from 6 to 8
p.m. Free lessons are offered for inter-
ested parties in January and February.

horns have invitedmilitary veterans from
our Sun City Softball Club to participate
in a Longhorn Network televised softball
game. The game will be played at the
Red and Charline McCombs Field on the
University of Texas campus onNovember
11 (Veterans Day), from 6 to 8 p.m. See

As one of the few spectator sports in Sun
City Texas, we invite you to come watch,
come play, come have some fun at beauti-
ful Del Webb Field! The grandstand cover
makes watching the games comfortable
and enjoyable. Fall Season league games
will be played on Mondays and Thurs-
days, through November 13. There are
practice and pick-up games every Tuesday
and Friday beginning at 10 a.m. There
is also a very active and self-supporting
traveling team, the Sun City Warriors,
for the more competitive player.

additional information, league standings,
schedules and calendar events.

The Solos Chartered Club is open to
all Sun City Texas residents. Our goal
is to have a good time participating in
social, intellectual and sporting activi-
ties, including bowling, golf, adventure
group, card games, day trips, book club,
wine tasting, dining out, etc. The 2014
Solos dues now through November 30
for new members is $10 and for renew-
ing members is $20. Dues may be paid
at the Sun City Texas website or at the
Member Services Office.
Solos’ weekly Thirsty Thursday is held at
The Oaks from 5:30-7 p.m. We celebrate
monthly birthdays, enjoy potluck meals
and share in social activities. Bring your
beverage of choice, a glass and let us wel-
come you to our family of friends.

Solos will visit the
Wild West
on Satur-
day, November 22nd in the Social Center
Ballroom. A Texas BBQ dinner buffet
will be followed by live honky-tonk music.
