ST. LOUIS GROUP MEETS JERRY MARX
The Sun City St. Louis Group met at the residence of Brent and Ginger Brandvold. Sheila Engel, president of the group,
introduced Jerry Marx (third from right, back row), Sun City resident and former professional baseball player for the St.
Louis Cardinals. Jerry took the group of over 50 members back to the days of Red Schoendienst and Mike Shannon,
professional Cardinals now in the Baseball Hall of Fame. He told great stories of spring training and playing ball in the
Three Eye League (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa) and other minor leagues before playing in Busch Stadium.
N6 PIZZA PARTY
Recently, Neighborhood 6 held a pizza party; 72 neighbors gathered to enjoy pizza and visit with each other.
