Join a fun dance/drill group and get lots of
exercisewith practices and performances in
shows and parades! Drop by any Wednes-
day practice to watch the Georgettes dance.

Happy Feet Cloggers:
Clogging is great
fun, good exercise and helps to reinforce
memory skills. Regular classes are on
Fridays, 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Con-

Beginners start time is 9:15-10:15 a.m.;
Advanced start at 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
each Friday in the Atrium. We dance to
various genres of music—country, ’50s
and ’60s, and show tunes. Stop by and
watch the Cloggers on Friday mornings.

2nd Chance Jazz Dance offers the op-
portunity of fitness and fun as you learn
basic dance steps common to all forms of
dance. Incorporate the basic steps into
choreographed jazz routines. No classes
in July and August. A new session will
begin September 11.
Junior Camp:
During both weeks of
Junior Camp, our club will be involved
daily, guiding campers in coloring and
glazing clay objects that they can take
home with them.

The Current Issues Club pro-
vides a nonpartisan environment where
a respectful exchange of ideas among
members promotes discussion and a
deeper understanding of current issues.
June 20 Program:
“How reliable is
the Texas energy grid?” Members will
explore and discuss the reliability of the
Texas energy grid with a representative
of ERCOT, the Electric Reliability Coun-
cil of Texas.

Courtesy:
This nonpartisan club wel-
comes all points of view and political
party affiliations. Campaigning is not
allowed. There are Courtesy Guidelines
that all participants are required to ob-
serve.
SIGs:
The Special Interest Group meet-
ings provide a forum for members to
participate in less formal, small group
discussions. Members suggest topics in-
cluding program follow-ups and prepara-
tion for upcoming programs.
SIGs meet every first Friday from9-10:25
a.m. and/or 10:35 a.m. to noon in the
Georgetown and Florence Rooms at
Cowan Creek.
Membership:
Members participate
in the monthly discussion, have access
to members’ research, and attend SIG
meetings. Members are never required
to participate in the discussion. Dues are
$6 a year and are paid on the Sun City

$6 annual dues, you can enjoy all of the
games listed below.
If you would rather try out a game or
two, come as our guest. All the games
are played in the Activities Center on
Texas Drive.
The 13-week Hand and Foot challenge
ended Monday, March 31. Barb Dixon
was the winner with 40 wins. Joyce Eades
came in second with 36 wins and Martha
Kellstrand took third place with 36 wins.
Total points had to be used to break the
