Waco day trip! We have added new shops and
restaurant choices in the Silos neighborhood.
We will drop off at Magnolia Market to shop,
get decorating ideas, and enjoy the unusual finds. There are food
trucks on site if you wish to savor a homemade crepe or other
delight. Along with the Market is the Findery, right around the
corner that has a great selection in the two story shop as well as
a new warehouse to shop. Two blocks away the new Mary Avenue
Shops are open with clothing, unique décor finds, restaurants
and pie!

At noontime you will have the option of a short bus ride to the
always popular Spice Village for more shopping or lunch, or you
may remain in the Silos District for a return pickup for home
at 2 p.m.

Lunch is on your own at a selection of wonderful restaurants in
close proximity. A stop at Buc-ee’s will make this a full day of
treats and treasure. The bus will have plenty of storage for any
purchases.

NOTES: This is a full day of black belt shopping. Be
prepared for an active day of loading and unloading on
the bus, warm up your credit cards, and be ready to shop
‘til you drop! Please bring your cell phone.

East Austin Canopy Art Studios Tour
Austin - NEW!

Lunch on your own
Sunday, Nov. 12, $26 pp
Depart SCPL 10:15 a.m.; return 4:15 p.m.

Meet some of the local artists and
artisans who drive Austin’s vibrant creative
culture. With over 450 studio stops on the East
Austin Studio Tour, we have narrowed it down
to a wonderful community of studios called Canopy. Housed in
an architecturally refurbished warehouse that emphasizes the
connection between art, culture and the public, Canopy provides
a special glimpse into the inspiration, process and techniques of
the artist. Tour at your own pace, catalog in hand, and visit with
the resident artists, architects, ceramicists, jewelers, painters,
photographers, musicians, and sculptors who have opened their
studios for this once a year event.
