ANN – Matinee play of Ann Richards’ life
Zach Theater – Austin - NEW!

Dinner on Your Own
Friday, April 24, $97 pp
Depart SCPL 1 p.m.; Return 6:30 p.m.

Tough as nails and brilliantly funny, ANN
brings our brassy blue Texas Governor Ann
Richards back to vivid life. ANN, an inspiring
and hilarious new play, brings you up close and
personal with a complex, colorful, and captivating character bigger
than the state from which she came! Ann famously said, “I do
not want my tombstone to read, ‘She kept a really clean house.’
I think I’d like them to remember me by saying, ‘She opened
government to everyone.’”
It is interesting to note that the star Holland Taylor, who played
Ann on Broadway, said she wouldn’t do any more shows after it
stopped playing there. However, when she heard it was going to
be in Austin, she said she couldn’t pass up the opportunity. So,
we get to see the original star!
Following the play we will stop at the Domain where you can
choose from a variety of restaurants for dinner on your own.
Ticket cost includes transportation and center stage seating for
the play.
