Resident Directors’ Open Session

Wednesday, February 17, 3 p.m., CCG/F

The Resident Directors’ Open Session is an excellent oppor-
tunity for residents to discuss matters listed on the February
Board Workshop Agenda with the Resident Directors prior
to their taking action on the items during the February 25
Board Meeting. Residents are also welcome to discuss any
other topics with the Resident Directors. All Sun City Texas
residents are encouraged to attend the Open Session, the CA
Board Workshop and the CA Board Meeting.

New Resident Orientation

Thursday, February 18,
8:30 a.m., Social Center Ballroom
If you are new to Sun City Texas, please join us for the New
Resident Orientation. The Club Fair begins at 8:30 a.m.. En-
thusiastic members will visit with you and tell you about their
Chartered Clubs.

The Community Association staff presentation begins at 9:15
a.m. and ends around 10:15 a.m. You will have an opportunity
to meet the staff, learn how your Association operates, and
gather valuable information. Refreshments will be served.

You can assist and advise in the governance of Sun City Texas
by serving on an advisory committee. To learn about the
activities and responsibilities of each committee, attend its
monthly meeting (listed on Page 6 of the Sun Rays) or visit its
website at www.sctexas.org; click on Community Association
Info > Committees and Task Forces; click on the committee
of your choice.

Committee applications will be available February 8 at the
Activities Center, Texas Drive Fitness Center, the Social Cen-
ter and Cowan Creek Monitors Desks and on the Nominating
Committee website. The deadline to apply is Friday, March
11. Interviews will be conducted the week of April 11.
