View one of the most
spectacular floral displays in the country
featuring over 500,000 blooms. An amazing
tribute to spring, the Aboretum greets us
with a collection of tulips, daffodils, pansies,
azaleas, thousands of other flowers, and cherry blossom trees.
We begin with lunch at the 21,000 square foot DeGoyler home
built in 1940. The back of the home overlooks White Rock Lake
and the tiered fountains of the Woman’s Garden, a popular
wedding venue. Our luncheon features a salad trio – fresh fruit,
chicken, and spinach salads with coffee or iced tea. Dessert is
Kentucky Chocolate Cake. No menu changes.
After lunch you will have two hours to stroll the grounds and
tour the DeGoyler home. You will be walking over uneven
and gravel paths so wear appropriate shoes. This trip will go
rain or shine. We will make rest stops going and returning at
Slovacek’s Bakery and Deli in West.
Ticket cost includes transportation, entrance fee and lunch.

Jersey Boys
is returning to Austin
and we plan tomake this a night to remember!
Bet you will return home singing “Oh What
a Night!”
First we will dine at Pappadeaux Seafood
Kitchen with their famous salad served shortly after we arrive.
When you purchase your tickets, select one of the following
entrees: Ginger Salmon, a char-grilled fillet; PanGrilled Tilapia,
topped with toasted hazelnuts; Mixed Seafood Grill, a skewer
of assorted char-grilled seafood, served with dirty rice; or
Rosemary Chicken, a new selection receiving rave reviews.
Dessert selections are vanilla cheesecake with fresh strawberries
or chocolate cake. Coffee, tea, tax and gratuities are included.
After dinner, we will go directly to the Bass Concert Hall to enjoy
the record-breaking musical hit with orchestra level seating
(Rows G –Q).

is a story about Frankie Valli and
the Four Seasons. Discover how four blue-collar kids became
one of the greatest success stories in pop music history. They
wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold
175 million records worldwide – all before they were 30! This
evening features hit songs, “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Rag
Doll,” “OhWhat a Night,” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You.”
Ticket includes transportation, dinner and orchestra seating.

Mason, known as the “Gem of the
Hill Country,” is the only place in Texas where
you can find our state stone, the blue Texas
Topaz. Our tour begins at the Mason Square
Museum, full of artifacts and history and includes the largest
topaz in North America, discovered right in Mason. Next we
go to the top of the hill to scope out Fort Mason. A local docent
will share its history, including that this was Robert E. Lee’s
last post before joining the Confederate Army.
For lunch it is home cookin’ on the square at Willow Creek
Café. Menu (no changes): grilled chicken, green beans and
homemade yeast rolls; peach cobbler for dessert. Then we are
off to Country Collectibles, where you can purchase a Texas
Topaz or shop for other items.
Our tour ends with a wine tasting at Sandstone Cellars Winery
– three red wines, a dessert wine and a port, or feel free to
purchase a drink of your choice. Weather permitting, we will
sit outdoors on their patio. On our travels we should be able
to see bluebonnets.
