Typically, if someone is yelling 1999
“SHARK!” they aren’t too happy
about it. But in the late 90s, Sun City Morris Creel
residents attending the Deep Sea Roundup
were thrilled to encounter sharks aplenty – ing charter for eight hours of fresh air, open
not to mention bonito, king mackerel, mahi waters and good fishing. Back on land, the
mahi, cobia and numerous other surface group congratulated one another on a good
fish. During this two-night trip, residents haul, dined on their own fresh catches and
voyaged between 11 and 25 miles off the shared more than a few fish tales – some of
coast of Port Aransas aboard a private fish- them even turned out to be true!
