A HOME-GROWN TRANSFORMATION
Resident Dee LeGrand found caterpillars on her parsley, so she
brought them inside the house and they turned into chrysalis.
Eventually the caterpillars emerged transformed into beautiful
swallowtails! Dee captured this picture soon after one of the
butterflies came out of its chrysalis.
POKER FACES
The Poker Club held a Texas Hold’em
No Limit tournament on August 13
with 30 members participating in the
event. Congratulations to winners (l to
r) 2nd Place - Ernie Sydow; 1st Place –
Earl Watson; 3rd Place – Don Howard.

Residents enjoyed a tour of the
White Wing Golf Course at the
Open House on August 24. The
morning was overcast and cool –
the perfect time to take a ride in
the golf cart and enjoy the beauti-
fully maintained golf course in the
heart of Sun City Texas. Look for
