ROTARY CLUB MEETS SU PRESIDENT
Ron Garland, a Sun City Texas resident and the President of the

President of Southwestern University. Dr. Burger was the Rotary
Club’s guest speaker at the August 30 meeting.
BOOT CAMP ANNIVERSARY
Members of the Senior Boot Camp Series surprised instruc-
tor Leslie McCoy with a celebration to mark the one-year
anniversary of the class. Leslie has faithfully led the twice-
weekly class, coming up with a new set of “challenges” every
session! We can’t wait to see what she has in store for Year 2!
RC MODELERS REGATTA
More than 100 people came out to the Radio
Control Modelers Regatta on August 24, mak-
ing it a great success! A few members of the
Photography Club even took an informal “field
trip” to capture some of the sailboats at Berry
Creek Pond. Pictured in the photo, from left to
