LOOK, MA! NO HANDS!
CA Volunteer Trip Coordinator Jerilee Prather recently visited iFLY Aus-
tin, an indoor skydiving venue, in preparation for her planned outing on
November 6. The experience is meant to simulate a free fall, in which a
vertical wind tunnel creates a wall-to-wall cushion of air where partici-
pants safely float with an instructor close by. If you’re interested in more

BOCCE PRACTICE & LEAGUE WINNERS

8 a.m. or 1 p.m., depending on the weather. New players are always welcome. It’s fun and easy to learn.
RIGHT:
Pictured left to right - Larry Hunting, Russ Ru and Don Webb. Russ Ru was the winner of the 8 week bocce league
that ended August 8. He won 18 games out of 24. Don Webb was right behind him with 17 wins and Larry Hunting had 16
wins. The competition was tight right until the last game was finished. The next 8 week bocce league is scheduled to begin
October 14 at 1 p.m. Come and join the fun!
