Sun City Texas Recycles presents CA NEWS
“Let’s Talk Trash” Town Hall
NOVEMBER 2016 SUNRAYS | 11
Wednesday, Nov. 9, 9-11 a.m., SCB
Submitted by the NRO Sun City Texas Recycles Committee
What do I do with that old computer, fluorescent tubes, old
paint, partial containers of pesticides and other household
hazardous waste? Are residents allowed to use the Community
Association trash bins located at Legacy Park and Cowan
Creek Amenity Centers? What do I do with an expired non-
refillable fire extinguisher? Why there are no recycle bins in
the meeting and activity rooms?
The Let’s Talk Trash Town Hall will address these and other
questions residents have about their regular trash pickup and
yard waste collection. Residents will also meet representatives
from the CA, NRO, City of Georgetown, Texas Commission
on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and Georgetown Recycle
Center.
This town hall is brought to you by Sun City Texas Recycles,
a committee of the NRO. Sun City Texas Recycles is a team of
residents providing education and resources in Sun City Texas
to help residents efficiently and appropriately dispose of waste.
Together, we can help to ensure responsible stewardship of
the Sun City Texas environment.
This meeting will air live on Channel 18 and will be available
on the website following the meeting.
