san gabriel river project
Resident photographer Holly Moore
recently completed a project featuring
15 various types of photographs taken
along the San Gabriel River. Titled “The
San Gabriel River Project,” the photo-
graphs highlight the San Gabriel River,
whose two forks converge in San Ga-
briel Park in Georgetown. “I chose the
San Gabriel River as my photography
project because I wanted to share this
natural and man-made resource with
fellow citizens of Sun City as well as
residents of Georgetown,” Holly said
in her artist’s statement. She hopes to
add to the project in the future, and
that her photos are enjoyed by all who
see them.
The project will be exhibited in Febru-
ary at the Activities Center, and at St.
David’s Hospital in Georgetown in April
and May.
