Fall brings a bounty of town halls
These meetings will air live on Channel 18 and will be available on the website following the meetings.
Expansion Task Force Town Hall Aging Resources Town Hall

The Expansion Task Force will host a town hall on Thursday, 9:30-10:30 Panel discussion and questions

The Williamson County Sherriff’s Office will host a town hall
on Thursday, Sept. 21 at 6 p.m. in the Social Center Ballroom. Recycling in Sun City Texas
Sheriff Robert Chody and his staff will be available to visit with Town Hall
residents and present an update on current activities and future
plans in Williamson County law enforcement. The event is free Wednesday, Nov. 8, 9 a.m., SCB
and open to the public; however, seating is limited. Bring your own coffee mug!

Firewise Town Hall subcommittee of the NRO. Sun City Texas Recycles is a team of
residents providing education and resources in Sun City Texas

The Sun City Texas Wildlife Management Committee will host
a town hall to discuss the activities of the committee, including
whitetail deer management, on Oct. 17 at 9:30 a.m. Procedures
used in the Whitetail Deer Management Program will be
discussed. Recent deer census results will be presented as well
as information on the upcoming capture process.
Warren Bluntzer, Sun City Texas Wildlife Biologist, will discuss
the deer management program. Paul Ohlenbusch, Vegetation
Management, will provide a brief history of whitetail deer
management in our community. The discussion will also include
recommendations for residents to reduce damage to landscape
caused by deer and other wildlife. Other information about co-
existing with deer in our community will be presented.
Attendees at the meeting are encouraged to ask questions
regarding wildlife management issues.
