fees, lessons and
handicap fees.
That is a great deal
of income generated
by a very small staff
who do their jobs very
efficiently. We all owe
the employees who make
this happen a heartfelt
thank you and appreciation
for their efforts. As these numbers
and graphs show, we are able to enjoy the finest in facilities,
lifestyle and enhanced property values with a little help from
“other income.”
Volunteer for an
advisory committee
Submitted by the Nominating Committee
The Sun City Texas community needs your help. Eleven advisory
committees advise the CA Board of Directors and staff on matters
that are relevant to their areas of responsibility. To learn more
about any specific committee, its members and responsibilities,
log into our website, www.sctexas.org. Look under the committee
membership 101 tab on the Nominating Committee website.
You can also attend any of the monthly committee meetings,
visit their website and read their minutes or charter. Should
you want to volunteer on a committee or sub-committee, contact
the committee chairperson.
Applying has been made simpler. Applications are found online
on the Nominating Committee website under the committee
application tab. Paper applications are available at any of the
monitor stations and the Fitness Centers. Applications must
be submitted online or turned in to the Texas Drive Member
Services Office by 4 p.m. on Sept. 8. The Nominating Committee
will conduct interviews the week of Oct. 9. Openings may be
available on the following committes:

Elections Landscaped Maintained Homes
Emergency Management Modifications
Finance Property & Grounds
Wildlife
