may bring a camp chair.

Join us for one of the funniest and most
unique theatrical Off-Broadway productions
ever to grace the small stage. As described
in her book, A Passion for Design, Barbra
Streisand’s Malibu home has a mall built in the
basement to house her showbiz collections. The mall features a
doll shop, an antique clothing store, and a soda fountain, complete
with a frozen yogurt machine.

Playwright Jonathan Tolins takes this wackiness and introduces
us to Alex More, a struggling Hollywood actor, who takes a gig
working in the mall with Babs as his only customer. Wickedly
funny, this one-man show will keep you in stitches, as our
character Alex develops an unlikely and hilarious friendship
with the “funny girl” herself.

The Domain will be our pre-show stop for dinner on your own
where you will find a variety of restaurants.

Ticket cost includes transportation and orchestra seating.

Escape the heat! If you love to shop, then
Barton Creek Mall in Austin is the destination
for you. More than 180 specialty shops and
anchor stores, including Nordstrom, Dillard’s
and Macy’s await you. If you prefer to skip
shopping, you can still escape the July heat and go to the AMC
14 Theater located inside the mall to catch a movie. Mall maps
and movie listings to be provided.

Ticket cost includes transportation only on a small 25 passenger
bus.
