ren Bluntzer, Sun City wildlife biologist, will discuss the deer
management program and efforts to control other wildlife.

   Water Matters Town Hall

Friday, April 15, 10 a.m., SCB

Submitted by Carlton M. Mathis,
Common Area and Irrigation Superintendent

While drought conditions have been somewhat alleviated by
recent weather trends, water conservation in Central Texas
continues to be a priority. Please join us Friday, April 15, from
10 a.m. to noon in the ballroom, where we will address these
concerns on a local level. Topics will include Sun City Texas’
2016 community conservation goals and objectives, resident
testimonials on current conservation technologies and an update
from the City of Georgetown regarding their latest programs.

Bits from Ginny’s Desk

Submitted by Ginny Wagner, Community Standards Supervisor

With Easter behind us, holiday decorations need to be removed
by Wednesday, April 6.

This is also a good time to remind everyone that the common
areas, although commonly owned by us all, are off limits to
everyone but designated CA employees. The wildlife that we
all cherish feel free to frolic in those areas mainly because we
don’t trespass. Planting trees, placing furniture or even nail-
ing up birdhouses is a violation of our community’s standards
and changes the area that is perfect just as it is.

Finally, we recently learned that many residents are under
the impression that they are not responsible for the mailboxes
located on their property; however, they are. For tips on how to
maintain, log on to www.sctexas.org and go to Departments &
Hours > Community Standards > Frequently Asked Questions
and look under General Questions.
