If you think that all B.L.U.E. Angels are
women, think again! The January team
consists of all men who have already
planned out their entire menu, right
down to the appetizers. “What’s so great
about this men’s team,” says Sandy, “is
that they plan to not only cook everything
themselves, but to stay and personally
serve their food to the officers. Their
hearts are really in this!”
As N50 residents are discovering, there
are ways to participate in the B.L.U.E.
Angels beyond meal preparation. The
N50 crafters, headed up by Diana Reese,
designed and created special badges for
each B.L.U.E. Angel to wear on their team
visit. “Our crafters did a really great job
on those badges,” says Diana, “and we love
seeing the team members wear them.”
