SUN CITY AMATEUR RADIO
SOCIETY’S FOX HUNT
This monthly Saturday morning ra-
dio hunt is sponsored by Sun City’s
ham radio club to hone members’
radio operation and signal-tracking
skills. Each month’s winners hide the
“Fox” somewhere in Sun City for next
months’ hunt.
Left: July winners Pace McDonald,
Don Parrish and Denny Searles, using
radio directional finding equipment,
were the first hunt team to find a
hidden transmitter (the “Fox”) hid-
den by the winners of June’s hunt.
The “Fox” is between Pace and Don
and was hidden in the bush behind
the winners.
Right: June winners
Steve Lawrence, Jeff
Hahn and Dennis Sear-
les, using radio direc-
tional finding equip-
ment, were the first
hunt team to find a
hidden transmitter (the
“Fox”) hidden by the
winners of May’s hunt.
