The overall result – a casual, terraced
look. Crushed granite walkways con-
tinue this relaxed style around the
house and into the back yard. Colorful
flowering plants, scattered throughout
the landscape, create a happy vibe. In
early spring a bed of hot pink phlox
and yellow Four Nerve Daisies drew
the attention of Sun City Garden Club
members. Around back Gazanias (Af-
rican daisies) were starting to bloom
in shades of yellow, orange, white and
pink. On a later visit red ‘Knockout’
roses and deep blue ‘Henry Duelburg’
salvia were brilliant and the Gazanias
were a riot of color. Lantana in the front
and back beds will provide bright color
throughout the summer. Nancy empha-

POKER FACES
The Poker Club held a Texas Hold’em
No Limit tournament on April 12 with
40 members participating in the event.
Congratulations to Suzanne Miller for
winning the tournament with Lynvia
Goss placing second, Sharon Campbell
placing third, Russ Ruff placing fourth
and Mike Mancivalano placing fifth.
