Our year ended with quite a bit
of excitement! Thank you to our
members for sharing feedback
with Staff and the Board during
the 2016 Budget process. To stay
informed, please read the Golf
Committee, Golf Task Force and

every month.
WGA-9 new officers for next year
are as follows:

Sylvia Quillin will serve her second
year as tournament director. At the
last 2015 Executive Board meeting,
then-incumbent officers met with the
new officers in an effort to provide a
smooth transition. Outgoing officers
should be applauded for a job well
done during 2015.
At our holiday luncheon a check for
$1000 was given to Anne Muilman,
who represented our 2015 charity
of choice, Brookwood of Georgetown
(BIG). A huge note of gratitude goes
to all our members who supported
“Mulligans for Charity” in 2015. The
highlight of the holiday luncheon
was the presentation of special
awards such as Ms. Fashionplate,
Most Optimistic, Most Helpful,
Most Knowledgeable, Hardest
Worker, Beach Baby and Tree
Hugger. All members were given an
opportunity to nominate a person
for each category by accessing the
ballot on our website. Watch the
next issue of Sun Rays to see who
the winners were.
We closed the year with 211
members! Everyone, please
remember to pay your 2016 dues this
month if you have not yet done so.
