The Quail Ranch in Dime Box, TX ( quailhuntdimebox.com )offers a Pheasant Shoot or European Pheasant Hunt comprised of 12 to 14 shooters positioned in a wide semi-circle. Shooters can stand or sit depending on mobility. Driven or launched birds attain high speed and heights that challenge hunters with front, overhead and rear shots. After 10 birds are launched, the harvested birds are gathered and shooters rotate to the next position in the semi-circle. Pheasant shoots can be scheduled from October to April.
