Hello everyone, Last month we all had a wonderful time at 20-20 Scratch Kitchen. They always provide great service and great food--thank you to all who attended and joined in the lively discussions!
This month we are staying a bit closer to home; we will be going to Mulligans at 5:30 on Feb 26th. I have reserved the back room for us. Please let me know if you can attend, and if you can drive--of course, we are always on the lookout for places. Let me give you a bit of an update: - I tried Juliet's Italian Kitchen: they said we could reserve the back for $1000 and a limited menu. I said no, thank you, then they said we could be seated in the general room, with a $20 min. per person, and bundling no less than 6 people per check--so again, I said no, thank you. I have eaten there, and the food is good; honestly, though, that was too many restrictions for us.
- I tried Olive Garden: they do not take reservations except for between the hours of 11am and 2pm (maybe something we keep in mind) if we can send someone early to check in and "hope that it works out," you know the kind of thing where if the moon is in the right position, we all turn around in a circle and unicorns appear, we could maybe all sit together...lol....you can see the concern there.
For March, I have made reservations at Dale's in Walburg at 5:30, March 25th. I will send out a separate email in March for those sign ups. Please let me know if you plan on attending this month.
