Nestled between the Rio Grande and the Nueces River lies a land of endless waving grass known  as The Wild Horse Desert, home to one of Texas' largest and most noteworthy ranches, King Ranch. Join us for three days of adventure and discovery as we make our way along the Chisholm Trail to the "birthplace of American ranching".

Tuesday – Enjoy cowboy history and lore at The Chisholm Trail Museum and The Pharmacy & Medical Museum in Cuero. Have a picnic lunch and take a guided tour of the Berclair Mansion with its exceptional display of European antiques.

Wednesday – Our King Ranch tour includes a 30-minute history film at the King Ranch Visitor Center, a 1 ½ hour guided ranch tour and a chuckwagon barbecue lunch. After lunch, explore the King Ranch Museum, the King Ranch Saddle Shop, The Depot Train Museum and Hale's Emporium-an old-fashioned ice cream parlor.

Thursday – Tales on the trail take us to Mission Espíritu Santo, a colonial Spanish mission in Goliad, a photo-op at Cardwell Flats and the Caldwell County Courthouse in Lockhart. Our adventure ends with a "cowboy shot"  and echoes of days past as the trail boss says, "head'em north boys…we're burning daylight"!

Ticket includes transportation, two nights at Kingsville Hampton Inn with breakfast, two lunches and all tour fees. Maximum tickets: 18 double occupancy (queen), 4 single occupancy (king).
