NRO Anti-Fraud Group Town Hall Friday, May 12 - SOCIAL CENTER BALLROOM Coffee and donuts at 8:30 a.m.; program begins at 9 a.m. (Please note that the doors open at 8:30 a.m. and the program begins at 9 a.m.) Limited to the first 300 attendees (free)! The NRO's Anti-Fraud Group works to help Sun City residents recognize scams and reduce their chances of falling for them. The Group's first-ever town hall will begin with speakers from the Federal Trade Commission and the Texas Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner.
After a break, the program will continue with a panel discussion including representatives of the Georgetown Police Department, Williamson County Sheriff Mike Gleason, Williamson County DA Shawn Dick and/or Assistant DA Jamie Felicia, and John Combs, Sergeant – Special Investigations Group, Criminal Investigations Division with the Texas Attorney General's Office.
Questions from the audience will be collected and posed to the panel as time permits. The speakers and other relevant organizations will have tables and materials available to attendees. Please join us! |
