Mamma Mia e Italiano! National Pasta Day is celebrated in October so what better way to celebrate than by cooking and sharing your favorite Italian dish(es). Come and gather with your N48 neighbors on Saturday, October 22, at 5:00 in the Lone Star Room at the Retreat (1220 Cattleman Drive) where we will have Italian ambiance, music, fantastic food, and entertainment. There is a two-phase registration process as follows: Register your attendance on the website in the usual manner; deadline is Friday, October 14, to allow for meal planning. Send an email to Nancy Chessman ([email protected]) to inform her of the dish(es) you plan to bring. Note: Once we know what dish registrants are bringing, it may be necessary for Nancy to contact some of you a few days ahead and request a change to ensure we have a nice balance of foods based on the quantity of registrants so please plan accordingly.
