Discover the beauty of Colombia on a journey to vibrant cities, the coffee zone, flowers and diverse birdlife presented by Elsa Alford, a native Colombian.

Located on the northwestern side of South America, Columbia is known for 

• its rich biodiversity in the flora and fauna, 

• as the 3rd largest producer of coffee in the world and for its bananas,

• as the world largest producer of emeralds (60%), 

• as the 2nd largest flower exporter in the world,

• Caribbean beaches and its Amazonian jungle,

• famous people like Shakira and Sofia Vergara.

In this presentation you will have the opportunity to see and hear about Bogota, its capital, the Salt Cathedral, coffee plantations, discover Medellin City, one of the great recovery success stories of Latin America, and Cartagena with intact historic walled city a UNESCO World Heritage Site - a true cultural treasure!
