Update on Wireless Meter Reading Devices

Dear Customer,
As your natural gas provider, Atmos Energy consistently seeks new ways to improve our service to you. Over the next couple of months, as part of system improvements in Sun City, Atmos Energy will be replacing your natural gas meter and installing a wireless-meter reading device.

This project will cause a temporary disruption of service; however, we work with you to eliminate this inconvenience. An Atmos Energy technician will come to your home in the next couple of weeks to replace your meter. If you are not home, a door tag will be left on your front door with instructions requesting you to call Atmos Energy to schedule an appointment to complete this work.

If you have any questions, please call 1-888-286-6700 to speak with an Atmos Energy customer service representative during customer service hours, which are Monday – Friday, 7 am to 6 pm, excluding holidays.

The wireless meter-reading device is a radio transmitter mounted directly to natural gas meter that automatically sends your usage information to Atmos Energy. The transmitters will allow us to read your meter electronically – eliminating the need to come on your property every month.
