Conserve Water
Over the weekend you may have seen an email or post on NextDoor from the City of Georgetown requesting that you limit or discontinue outside watering. A water pump outage has decreased the water storage and distribution capacity of the system. Pump repairs are in progress and may take up to two weeks to complete. All City of Georgetown water customers are requested to reduce all outdoor watering and any other unnecessary water usage until further notice. Follow the updates on NextDoor (under crime and safety) or the City of Georgetown’s Facebook page for further updates or call 512-930-3640 for automated updates.
Important:
Please note, the boil water notice issued yesterday by the City of Georgetown does not affect Sun City Texas residents. This notice was issued for those customers in their Western district on the opposite side of Hwy 183, closer to Liberty Hill. For a map of this area please visit their Facebook page at the link

Power Outage
On Friday several homes in the North West section of Sun City Texas (Pedernales Falls/Cool Springs area) experienced a power outage due to damaged switch gear. Power was restored to most customers by early evening, however, 100+ customers were without power until late that evening awaiting replacement of a part. The equipment was replaced and service was restored. We apologize for the inconvenience.
