The annual Veterans Day ceremony honors those veterans who have served in our military forces, as well as those men and women who are serving today. This year’s guest speaker will be Brigadier General Kenneth L. Kamper, Chief of Staff, Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve, III Corps and Fort Hood. The East View High School band, orchestra and choir will provide music beginning at 10:45 a.m. The Community Association will serve refreshments on the Social Center patio after the ceremony.
Parking & Seating
Parking is available at the Social Center at 2 Texas Drive and across the street at the Activities Center at 1 Texas Drive. Seven hundred folding chairs will be placed at the memorial, or guests may bring a folding chair and sit under the trees. The Community Association will serve refreshments on the Social Center patio after the ceremony.
