Start cleaning out your medicine cabinet in preparation for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. This is a drive-thru disposal event for medications that are no longer wanted. To save space, if possible, combine all medications in one plastic zip lock bag. The drive-through is located at the Social Center parking lot. The following items WILL be accepted: expired or unwanted prescription medications (for you, a family member or pet), unneeded over-the-counter medicines, unknown tablets and capsules and controlled medications such as narcotics or stimulants. The following items WILL NOT be accepted: sharps/needles, thermometers, IV bags, personal care products and medical equipment. - If they are not in a container, place medications in a plastic zip bag
- Bring expired or unwanted prescription medications, unneeded over-the-counter medicines, unknown tablets and capsules, and controlled medications such as narcotics or stimulants (Examples of medications include items that manage diabetes, and blood pressure and cholesterol medications.)
