Socializing 12:30-1:00 pm, meeting starts at 1:00 pm. Topic: Martin Byhower will speak about Gardening for Birds and Pollinators in a Dry Climate. A lifelong science teacher and biologist, he is a native plant landscape designer and birding guide who has over 100 species of native plants in his yard in Sun City. He designed and manages the Garden Club's Demonstration Garden, writes the monthly Sunrays garden column, and wrote our landscape plant recommendations booklet that you can see at all the monitor's desks. His yard was recently featured on the PBS show Central Texas Gardner.
