The film tells the story of five young Mexican American caddies who were determined to learn how to golf, despite having outdated equipment and no professional instruction. After creating their own course in the middle of the South Texas desert, they would go on to win the 1957 Texas State High School Golf Championship for San Felipe High School. The team's triumph served to break barriers for many Latino PGA golfers who followed. Based on an inspiring true story and adapted from Humberto Garcia's book "Mustang Miracle." |
