Oppenheimer and a team of scientists spent years developing and designing the atomic bomb. Their work comes to fruition on July 16, 1945, as they witness the world's first nuclear explosion, helping to end the war, and forever changing the course of history. The story is centered on Oppenheimer's studies, his direction of the Manhattan Project, and his eventual fall from grace due to his 1954 security hearing. |
