Do you love movies and trivia, and are you competitive? We will be hosting a movie trivia event in the ballroom before our showing of Sleepless in Seattle. If you think you know more about Tom Hanks and 80's movies than your Sun City friends and neighbors, join us for a 30-minute trivia game before the movie starts! There will be prizes! After his wife passes away, Sam Baldwin (Tom Hanks) and his son, Jonah, relocate to Chicago to escape their loss. Many months later, Sam is still grieving and has never contemplated dating again. Although Jonah misses his mother, he still hopes his father will find a new wife. When Jonah calls a radio talk-show in an attempt to find a new wife for his dad, Sam grudgingly gets on the line and joins the conversation. Annie Reed (Meg Ryan), a Baltimore reporter, hears Sam and falls for him and an invitation to meet on Valentine's Day follows. A large cup of popcorn and a can of soda will be included with your ticket. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks and beverages to add to the festivities. Doors will open at 12:00 p.m. and the trivia quiz will start at 12:15 p.m., don't be late or you'll miss all the fun! The movie will begin at 1:00 p.m. |
