A NIGHT UNDER THE STARS Come enjoy an evening under the stars at Garey Park on Tuesday, November 14 from 7-9 PM, with your friends from N48! Talented volunteers from the Williamson County Astronomy Club will be on hand with telescopes and/or cameras to help visitors view various celestial objects. Participants are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets. They cannot do an event for just our group, this is open to the public. Please register on the N48 website so we have an idea who is coming. You may choose to carpool with someone on the list. There is no registration deadline for N48 website, but for this activity YOU must PURCHASE TICKETS ONLINE on your own, on the Garey Park website. Registration is limited to 100 and pre-registration is required. Walk-ins will NOT be accepted at the gate. Tickets are $2 each, & will be available online starting Tuesday, August 1 at their website: parks.georgetown.org Phone: 512-930-6800, press 0 if questions. Click on Login(blue button upper right corner)Create an account by clicking "Sign Up"/Don't have a Login?. THEN, you may log in. Activities should come right up, go to Programs, Star Gazing November. Click on BLUE REGISTER button (course ID # is: 115055) to register for this program. It will indicate how many registration spots are left. You may buy tickets for you and your spouse/friend with one login. You will not see the blue Register button until August 1!
