Scarred by grief and guilt, Charlie (Brendan Fraser), an online writing instructor, now has a clear view of his secret intentions. Living with chronic obesity and confined to his claustrophobic and musty apartment, this self-destructive shut-in has all the time in the world to contemplate his past, fatherhood, and reconciliation.
