He has performed with Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson and was inducted into the Texas Music Legends Hall of Fame in 2019. Pianist and singer Emily Gimble is a granddaughter of renowned Texas fiddler Johnny Gimble. Named the Official Texas State Musician of 2020, she also performed with Asleep At The Wheel and Merle Haggard. Emily's musical genres include folk, pop, swing and jazz.
