Nobody throws a party like Texas, and the State Fair of Texas is proof! This month-long festival happens every September through October and has been going strong since 1886. Our State Fair celebrates all things Texan by promoting agriculture, education, and community involvement through quality entertainment in a family-friendly environment. Join us for a day of food, festivities, adventure and fun! Meals will be on your own at Fair Park. On the way to Dallas, we'll stop at Buc-ee's in Temple for breakfast snacks and a stretch. On the trip back home, we'll stop at Slovacek's in West for snacks and a stretch. Note: This is a Level 3 trip that requires lots of walking around a large venue and standing for extended periods of time. This is a rain or shine outdoor event. Ticket includes transportation and entrance fee to the Fair for those who are 60 and older. For attendees under 60 years of age, you will need to pay a $24 entrance fee at the gate.
