Violet, matriarch of the Crawley family, inherits a villa located in the South of France from an old friend. In the meantime, Mary Crawley grants a filmaker permission to film a moving picture at Downtown Abbey. Although Mary's father Robert dislikes the idea, some in the family and household staff are thrilled. To avoid Mary's "frightful film", Robert and several family members join Violet on a grand French journey to solve the mystery of why her friend left her the villa. |
